Dear mridulcs,
We have been using the facebook wall for several years now.
In the past week or so, it stopped working with this error:
"Errors: (#80001) There have been too many calls to this Page account."

Please let me know if there is a know fix, perhaps a way to throttle the number of API calls that it makes ?

Can you share the web page where you placed the module?. Are there too many hits in this web page? how many users visit this page in a day and month?. It seems facebook API call rate limit issue, i will try to overcome it.

Well, as soon as I set up this test page for you:

I see that this issue is probably resolved.

It now works OK on the front page of the site:
townoflimon.com/

But the events posting is either not working or they don't have any events on their FB page:
www.facebook.com/Town-of-Limon-Colorado-129550003748122
